At the end of January, 1837 Russia lost the great poet. Many in the world are familiar with his creative heritage. And on preparatory office annually take place the actions devoted to Alexander Pushkin.
On January 22, 2019 the students from Turkmenistan studying at preparatory office visited Regional library of A.S. Pushkin. The manager of the Pushkin sector of library Anna Morkovina spent literary hour on history of a family of Pushkin.
Listeners learned a lot of interesting not only about life of the great writer, but also about his ancestors, saw a family tree and were surprised to the fact that monuments to Pushkin are in many cities of the world and even in the capital of Ethiopia. Of course, listeners got acquainted also with A.S. Pushkin's poetry, listened to the romance "That in a name to you mine" on verses by the great poet. The listener Oraz Muradov read a fragment from Eugene Onegin in Turkmen.
Also students visited an excursion in different halls of library, learned about a possibility of visit and record to the reading room. Listeners asked many questions during the excursion and even found books, interesting to them, on medicine and mathematics. This action wasallowed students of preparatory office to get acquainted with the Russian culture and to improve the language skills.
