A record amount of grain was harvested in our region

According to the Ministry of agriculture of Russia 109 million tons of grain were harvested in our region.
The Federal districts have been still harvesting the crops. The area of 34.3 million ha of grain and legumes had been threshed by September,14 this year and 109 million tons of grain with the yield of 31.8 C/ha.were produced. This is 6.2 million tons more than it was last year.
In the Saratov region agrarians harvested 5.5 million tons of grain. Nineteen of the areas harvested more than 100 thousand tons of grain, while six districts – more than 200 thousand tons. This is a record for the region for last decades.
