The results of the 4th All-Russian Student Olympiad in the field of Landscape Architecture

The results of the 4th All-Russian Student Olympiad in the field of Landscape Architecture were summarized.

During three days nine teams from eight cities of Russia competed in the development of the project of landscaping the city Gorky Park, in answering the challenging tests of the sponsors (Affiliate of the Center for Forest Protection of the Saratov region and the STIHL company).

On the third day of the Olympiad the students participated in the game "brain – ring", where the team of the North (Arctic) Federal Lomonosov University (Arkhangelsk) became the winner.

In the free time the teams were showed around the city, visited “Agrocenter” of SSAU, Engineering center, Victory Park, the Cosmonauts embankment and the Lipki garden. The Dean’s office of Engineering and Environmental Engineering faculty organized an evening boat trip.

In general the students of Saratov State Vavilov Agrarian University became the winners of the competition. Volga State University of Technology the second best. The team of the Ural State Forestry University was the third.

At the closing ceremony of the Olympiad, The Dean of the Engineering and Environmental Engineering faculty D. A. Solovyov presented all the trophies to the victorious teams and prizes prepared by our University and sponsors to all participants of the Olympiad.
