Victory Day is a significant holiday in Russia, a holiday with tears in his eyes, when the heart shrinks from pain and overwhelms thanks to our grandparents, veterans of the Great Patriotic War and home front workers, the great winners of 1945.
Foreign students of the preparatory department, participants of the Interclub, teachers, curators, the IIEP Directorate came on May 9 to Victory Park to pay tribute to the memory of the dead with a minute of silence, to touch the story, to remember their loved ones.
For listeners from Turkmenistan, it is also part of a common history, the page of the USSR. Many of them have heard from their parents and older relatives more than once that the country and people had to go through in those terrible years.
Foreign citizens observed a solemn meeting with interest and respect, at which the governor of the Saratov region, V.V. Radaev, listened to the songs of the war years at the concert grounds of the Park, studied military equipment. For them, this is another opportunity to get to know the people, the history of the country, about which they have heard so much and in which they will live and study the next few years.
Congratulations to all on Victory Day and we wish you a peaceful, clear sky over your head!
