Maslenitsa

On March 7, in campus No. 3 students celebrated the holiday, most popular in Russia, - Maslenitsa. Noisy cheerful celebrations, pulling of a rope, sports relays, bright dresses and rich tables — the embodiment of wide Russian soul. There took place a farewell to winter in the Saratov GAU.

All students could regale on pancakes with various stuffings, drink tea with different flavours. The student's club prepared the bright concert program. Fervent songs were to the taste to guests and involved them in big round dances.

In end of a holiday solemn burning of an effigy took place that symbolizes arrival of spring and parting with cold and ice cold winter days.
