Etiquette in intercultural communication

Language, traditions, history, culture and personal experience form in us a kind of a cultural filter that predetermines our values and ways of communication. With the help of a cultural filter, we interpret the events that occur around us. However, the conditions of the present day require readiness for effective, developing interaction with representatives of other cultures. At the meetings of our Interclub, we learn the art of understanding the traditions and culture of different countries.
On November 9, 2017, multinational teams worked together on video cases dedicated to the peculiarities of cross-cultural etiquette. In the informal atmosphere, foreign students of SSAU named after N.I. Vavilov and the guests of the university - representatives of the Boarding lyceum of natural sciences (BLNS) - exchanged their observations and suggested ways of intercultural communication harmonization.
G.N. Kamyshova, the director of Institute of International Educational Programs, made a speech before the audience. The students gladly accepted the proposal for the implementation of joint creative projects.
