Laying flowers at the Memorial to the Defenders of the Fatherland

On May 8, at 8.00, employees and foreign citizens of the Institute of International Relations of the SSAU named after N.I. Vavilova took part in the events dedicated to the celebration of "Victory Day". At the Resurrection Cemetery of Saratov, a ceremony of laying wreaths and flowers to the Memorial to the Defenders of the Fatherland took place.

At 10.00 a solemn passage of the troops of the Saratov territorial garrison and a festive concert program with the participation of the best creative teams and performers of the region took place at the Theater Square.

In the composition of the column were military units, veteran organizations, higher and secondary educational institutions, educational organizations of the Saratov region. Total involved 1761 people.

At the end of the passage, demonstrations were held by the company of the guard of honor of the Velsk Military Institute of Material Support and the combined military orchestra. The foreign guys were delighted with what they saw, learned a lot, took pictures and asked questions about the events of the war years.
