How selection is made?
Annually representatives of Apollo visit agricultural higher education institutions in Russia for selection of future probationers which happens in two stages.
First stage:
There is a selection of students to good theoretical knowledge and skills of practical work in the field of agriculture of Russia for participation in courses on German. These courses are conducted in close cooperation with teachers of German of higher education institution.
Second stage:
The German experts estimate pre-election candidates on their language knowledge. The best of them are invited to Germany to practice.
What is the Association on cooperation in agriculture, ecology and development of the village in Eastern Europe Apollo e.V.?
The association, since 1991, participates in a student's exchange between Russia and Germany, comes and supports contacts between universities of these countries in areas of agriculture, biology, geography and geology. The major project in the field of agriculture is the program of practice in Germany.
The program of practice is carried out with assistance of the Federal Ministry of Food, rural and forestry.
During this practice students and students are as guests at the agricultural enterprises, get acquainted with structure of agriculture in Germany. Each participant writes the report on practice and passes final examination in German. Unlike the German students, for the Russian students seminars, lasting fifteen days will be organized. At a final seminar competition is held, for a victory in which probationers win a prize and the recommendation for continuation of study in Germany.
That regional employees of Apollo help the Russian participants during their stay in Germany is of very great importance. About 20 active members of Apollo are always ready to help probationers with the solution of the arising questions. All employees of Apollo have practical experience in agriculture of Russia.
In this program make great demands of the participating enterprises. From them only what have the right to train the German students of an agricultural profile can participate. Some of heads of the enterprises have the Candidate degree.
